Monthly Accounting

G&S will gather financial statements from banks, brokers, and other fund service providers to reconcile internal records with this data at the end of each accounting period.  We utilize an accounting system specifically tailored to fit the needs of your hedge fund.  All investor and financial transactions are then entered into this accounting system in order to calculate incentive and management fees as well as loss carryforwards as per your fund's offering documents and in accordance with GAAP.  Although the types of report may vary based on the preferences of the fund manager and the specific needs of the fund, the following reports are typically generated:

 

  • Calculation of NAV (including full accruals of operating expenses, incentives, commissions, and other fees)
  • General Ledger Listing
  • Investor Summary Report
  • Balance Sheet
  • Income Statement
  • Trial Balance Report
  • Statement of Changes in Partner's Capital
  • Performance Table
